Michael J. Harris, Esq.


Michael J. Harris is a Middlebury College graduate (B.A., cum laude, 1980), who received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (J.D., magna cum laude, 1986). He worked from August 1986-1987 as a law clerk for the Honorable Albert W. Coffrin III, the former chief Judge for the Federal District Court for the District of Vermont. Mike has represented clients before state and federal courts and administrative bodies in a variety of subject areas including employment law, personal injury claims, construction law, business litigation, collections, real estate, product liability, employment termination, and consumer law claims. Mike is admitted to the bars of Vermont and Wisconsin and before the United States District Court (District of Vermont), the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court, and is a member of the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association and Vermont Employment Lawyers Association.
